Sat 2/04 | Blame Sally - Sebastopol EASTON The 4-women who make up rising San Francisco-based Folk Band Blame Sally have some experience with improbable complexities & contradictions. For another, this is obviously an all-woman band "girl groups" usually being the province of youthful upstarts, not mature singer-songwriters. Splitting the front-woman status among each of the 4 members goes against the agreed-upon maxim that every group needs a single focal point. Premium: $23, General Advance: $18, General Door: $20. Sat 3/17 | Book Signing - Redwood Empire Ice Arena The book is semi-autobiographical as I was a single mom. My daughter & me did have an orange tabby. Unlike the single moms you see on TV where they are 6 digit figure incomes with fancy houses and their big complaint is the nanny quit or the house keeper didn't show up!!! I was a struggling single mom who's ex sent very little child support & we lived in an apt. In the story (vol 1) Sebastian is the greatest of all cats. In heaven he is in charge of the new arrivals in heaven. He teaches them how to use their angel wings & matches them with their human on earth or a foster family if their human has not arrived yet. There are parties & celebrations going on. The characters are mainly children & pets. These books are being written to give hope & encouragement to those who have a sick or dying child or pet. Hope that there is something better. Heaven is a place of happiness. I have many unique happenings going on. There is a library & Hootsie the Owl is in charge of it. Sebastian teaches the fish how to read & they even have water proof books!! Vol 1 has an Asian character & Vol 2 there will be an American Indian child & an Afro-American child. The book is about 50 pages & the pages are 8.5" x 11". The illustrations are beautiful & since the pages are large, you can see more details in the pictures.
