Two high schools in Sonoma, Creekside High and Sonoma Valley, which share the same campus, should be back to normal this morning after they were on lockdown yesterday due to a “credible and specific threat” of a school shooting. A large law enforcement presence started shortly after 9am, with Sheriff’s deputies going classroom to classroom. Students were locked in there classes, the school provided lunch and buckets for the kids and staff to use if a bathroom break was needed. Adele Harrison Middle School and Prestwood Elementary were also on lockdown. The all clear was given about 3pm and students were finally released.
