A quarter-cent tax measure to raise money for early children’s health and care programs has qualified for the November ballot in Sonoma County. What is called the Sonoma County Child Care and Children’s Health Initiative could raise $30 million dollar annually. First 5 Sonoma County will administer the funds if the measure is approved by a simple majority.
