Sonoma County has sent teams to help fight the Park Fire burning north of Chico.
A strike team from the Santa Rosa Fire department arrived last week and was instantly put into action.
Also law enforcement in Butte County put out a call for mutual aid and the Santa Rosa Police Department quickly responded by sending a team of officers to assist with answering calls for help. The team has already posted pictures from their arrival on Facebook.
