On Thursday afternoon, nearly 100 protesters gathered outside of Old Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa to protest the federal government’s actions in LA.
They gathered in solidarity with California Senator Alex Padilla, who was forcibly removed from a Department of Homeland Security briefing on Thursday. Secret Service agents took Padilla to the ground and handcuffed him after he interrupted DHS Secretary Kristi Noem with questions.
The protest was organized by the Sonoma County Democratic Party.
