The Calistoga City Council has given the green light for staff to begin negotiations with Ripe Productions LLC for a multi-year agreement for a brand new rock music festival.
The Press Democrat reports this proposed two-day festival aims to draw up to 10,000 attendees daily to the Calistoga Fairgrounds. City officials are hopeful the festival will breathe new life into the fairgrounds, which the city purchased last year.
