A man fired at least five rounds during a standoff with Napa County Sheriff’s deputies.
That’s according to the Napa County District Attorney’s Office, which filed charges against Luis Armando Alvarado on Monday. He was arrested last Thursday night, after a seven-hour standoff at his home in Angwin. Court records show it stemmed from a confrontation with a relative. Alvarado is facing two counts of attempted murder as well as three additional charges related to gunfire and assault.
The victims are identified as the relative and a peace officer.
