Over 6,000 West Sonoma County residents are still without power this Thursday due to two separate overnight outages.
The Press Democrat reports the first outage, impacting over 2,200 customers around Occidental, began at 12:40 AM. A small, quarter-acre fire was reported nearby on Fitzpatrick Lane around 7:30 AM, but it’s not yet clear if it’s connected to the outage.
A second, larger outage struck further north, affecting nearly 4,000 customers in the Guerneville area. For them, power is estimated to be restored by 5:30 PM.
