The Press Democrat reports in a unanimous 4-0 vote this past Tuesday, city leaders approved a new ordinance officially welcoming food trucks to commercial and mixed-use zones.
Starting in mid-May, local businesses can host mobile vendors in parklets or converted parking spots until the early morning hours. While some operators may still need minor use permits for specific locations, the move aims to revitalize the downtown nightlife scene.
