AutoZone is set to expand its local footprint by taking over a prime retail space at the Redwood Plaza Center on Mendocino Avenue.
The major auto parts retailer is currently finalizing renovations on the nearly 22,000-square-foot building, which was previously home to a Big Lots that shuttered during that company’s bankruptcy.
The new store will join a busy shopping hub that features neighbors like CVS and Paris Baguette. This move breathes new life into a significant vacancy in the Santa Rosa corridor, signaling a fresh start for the prominent retail site.
An official opening date has not yet been announced as crews wrap up the interior transformation.
