The iconic R3 Hotel, a cornerstone of the lower Russian River’s LGBTQ+ community, has officially returned to the market with a $3.75 million price tag.
Located in downtown Guerneville, the 23-room property occupies a 10,000-square-foot building that is set to celebrate its centennial in 2030.
The site has a rich local history, originating as a 1940s motor lodge before evolving into the famed Russian River Resort and eventually rebranding as R3. After being delisted two years ago, the sale now offers a rare opportunity to own a piece of Sonoma County’s queer hospitality heritage.
According to listing agency Compass, the property remains a prominent destination for travelers seeking the river’s inclusive and vibrant atmosphere.
