May Marks 18 Years For Petaluma’s Ethical Clothing

Petaluma’s Ethical Clothing is celebrating a major milestone this May, marking 18 years of mindful fashion and community connection.

The North Bay Business Journal reports owner Kathy Jeter, who celebrates 15 years with the shop, attributes her success to a “chatty Kathy” approach that prioritizes customer comfort over high-pressure sales. The boutique features ethically sourced, natural-fiber outfits and even hosts quarterly art shows for local creators.

Jeter views her role similarly to her former career as a hairdresser: a mission to make every client feel better about themselves. That deep bond was recently highlighted when the family of a longtime customer visited just to thank Jeter for the joy she brought their mother.

Neighbors are invited to stop by downtown on May 2nd for a special anniversary sale and a friendly hello.
