Santa Rosa police are searching for two men who robbed Ortega’s Market on Guerneville Road at gunpoint Sunday night.
Just before 9 p.m., the suspects entered the store demanding cash, and one suspect fired a single round during the encounter; fortunately, no injuries were reported. The pair fled the scene on bicycles with an undisclosed amount of money.
Detectives describe the suspects as Hispanic males in their late 20s, dressed in all black with blue gloves and face masks. A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
