The clock is ticking for Sonoma County residents hoping to weigh in on the June 2nd primary election. Registrar of Voters Evelyn Mendez is reminding everyone that the official deadline to register is this coming Monday, May 18th.
If you miss the cutoff, you can still “same-day” register and vote in person, but your options for standard registration include going online or grabbing a paper form at any local library. Officials are also putting out a reminder that the Registrar’s Office has completely relocated to a new building on Brickway Boulevard in Santa Rosa.
To accommodate the heavy election push, that new office will offer weekend hours and stay open late until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
