Thousands of locals packed into Old Courthouse Square this week to celebrate the return of Santa Rosa’s beloved Wednesday Night Market.
According to the Press Democrat, the kickoff event officially launched the summertime street fair’s weekly season, which features a massive variety of local food vendors, kid-friendly activities, and unique artisan booths.
Music was a major draw for the bustling crowd, with a special opening performance from the Elsie Allen High School Mariachi band, followed by a headlining set from the Grammy-nominated rock band Fuel. Attendees set up folding chairs and picnic blankets across the grass, packing the downtown venue to enjoy the food and community spirit.
The open-air market will continue to take over downtown Santa Rosa every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. through August 12th.
