Sonoma County Tourism has officially relocated its Santa Rosa headquarters to a smaller office space at Fountaingrove Center.
According to the North Bay Business Journal, contrary to earlier reports of an expansion, the agency downsized from its longtime Aviation Boulevard location to trim operational expenses.
CEO Claudia Vecchio stated the move will save approximately $100,000 annually, which will be directly reinvested into revenue-generating marketing programs. The tourism group is joined at the new site by the Sonoma County Vintners, who will occupy a small portion of the new space.
Agency officials emphasized that this financially prudent move ensures more public funding is dedicated to promoting the region’s vital hospitality industry.
