According to an article in the Press Democrat, many participants in the Touch Mudder race last weekend at the Sonoma Raceway wound up with rashes, itches and bumps possibly associated with a bacterial infection. At least one racer tested positive for Aeromonas, a bacteria found in water. While they have not found a definitive link, anyone who participated in the event and is experiencing symptoms should contact their doctor.
