The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety has a mystery on their hands. Thursday night it received a call from a person who said they heard what sounded like a gunshot, and saw a man lying on the ground in the parking lot of a shopping center on Golf Course Drive. First responders found the man already deceased from a single gunshot wound to the chest, his identity has not been released. Anyone with information on the shooting should contact the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.
