Expect nighttime closures on Highway 101 tonight and tomorrow night.
Caltrans crews will be installing massive support girders for the new Hearn Avenue overpass. All north and southbound lanes between Baker and Yolanda Avenues will be shut down from 11 PM to 5 AM. Closures may begin as early as 10 PM if traffic allows. Detours will be in place, routing drivers through surface streets.
The $43.7 million project, replacing the aging overpass with a wider, safer bridge, is expected to be completed in late 2025.
