Sonoma County is planning a major upgrade to its government center.
A new five-story office building is envisioned for the current site on Administration Drive, with demolition starting late next year and construction in mid-2027. The 26-acre site will also undergo master planning, with the eastern portion being eyed for potential mixed-use development, possibly including up to 1,500 residential units.
The project is currently in its environmental review phase, with the new building expected within five years.
