The Santa Rosa City Council will vote on a controversial gas station proposal later this month.
The vote is scheduled for August 19th. If approved, a gas station and a market would be built at the intersection of Highway 12 and North Wright Road. The proposal was unanimously rejected by the city’s Planning Commission back in April. Members were concerned about health, safety and climate impacts.
Developers then appealed the decision, sending it to the City Council for a final vote.
