The City of Santa Rosa’s annual residential slurry seal program will begin on August 4th and run through August 14th on selected streets in the northwest part of the city.
Slurry seal is a cost-effective treatment that extends the life of streets by sealing out moisture and preventing deterioration. Each year, about 2.5 million square feet of city streets are treated.
Residents in the affected areas can plan ahead by checking the daily maps and schedules, which are available online now.
