The Pickett Fire on the 2300 block of Pickett Road in Calistoga has burned 2,133 acres & remains at 0% containment.
Situation Summary for August 22, per CAL FIRE:
“Overnight, firefighters were engaged in suppression efforts and were supported by three night-flying helicopters conducting water drops on the fire. The dozers on site worked to re-establish fire access roads as well as constructing contingency lines. Utilizing fire history and recently re-established dozer lines from Napa Firewise continues to aid with access and control.
The North Bay All-Hazard Incident Management Team has been activated to assist with operations on this fire.
Evacuation Warnings and Orders remain in place.”
