In Calistoga, City Manager Laura Snideman has resigned after less than three years in the position.
According to the Press Democrat, her departure follows a city council meeting on Wednesday, where several department heads spoke publicly about her management style. While a formal complaint of harassment against her last year was found to be unsubstantiated, concerns about her leadership had continued.
Mayor Donald Williams said the city will soon begin a search for a permanent replacement.
In a joint statement, the city and Snideman thanked her for her service and wished her well in her future endeavors.
