After multiple reports of a grey Ford Fusion hitting the center median on Highway 12 in Santa Rosa yesterday morning, police located the vehicle and its driver, 32-year-old Jabari Simms-Youth, at a gas station.
Officers determined the driver was under the influence of drugs and also in possession of fentanyl. He was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail. SRPD reminds the public that its special enforcement efforts around school zones are ongoing.
Officers have issued more than 75 citations and made three DUI arrests in the last three weeks alone as part of this program.
