Some residents are displaced after a fire broke out in the garage of an east Petaluma home early Saturday.
Officials say crews arrived within minutes and knocked down the blaze in about 20 minutes, with additional resources called from nearby fire districts. No injuries were reported, and the occupants were not home at the time.
Crews remained on scene for several hours to fully extinguish the fire and hotspots. An investigation is underway into the cause of the blaze.
