Road Trip Kitchen In Guerneville Under New Ownership

A popular Guerneville restaurant is changing hands.

According to the Press Democrat, after two years, Road Trip Kitchen is being sold by owner Crista Luedtke. Luedtke is passing the torch to her two longtime chefs from her other restaurant, Boon Eat + Drink.

Chefs Carlos Mendez and Rosy Ortega, who have worked with Luedtke for 14 years, will take over and rename the restaurant Three Cultures Kitchen. The new menu will blend American dishes with Salvadoran and Mexican flavors.

Road Trip Kitchen will serve its final customers on September 28. Mendez and Ortega plan to reopen in October after a brief closure to prepare the new space and menu.
