A local man is facing several charges after being arrested for driving under the influence and possessing multiple firearms.
According to the Press Democrat, Santa Rosa Police officers responded to a call on September 6 about a man with a gun to his head near the 1000 block of Spenlow Road. The man, later identified as 45-year-old Casey Eugene Jones, reportedly drove away in a blue Toyota Coupe.
Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, where they found Jones to be intoxicated and in possession of a loaded, concealed firearm. After a chemical test revealed his blood alcohol content was more than four times the legal limit, a second firearm was found in the trunk of his vehicle. Neither gun was registered to Jones.
He was booked into Sonoma County Jail on charges including DUI and carrying loaded, unregistered firearms.
