Calistoga City Council Seeking Solution For Inefficient City Offices

The Calistoga City Council is urgently seeking a solution for its cramped and inefficient city offices.

According to the Press Democrat, officials say the goal is to improve customer service, but they want to avoid expensive new construction. The council is now focused on finding a quick, cost-effective fix.

Options include renovating the Public Works yard, using modular units, or relocating staff to the Tubbs building at the Fairgrounds, which is estimated to cost as little as $20,000.

A final decision on the best temporary or permanent solution is pending.
