Santa Rosa City Council Selects Developer For Downtown Project

The Santa Rosa City Council has selected LH Housing to redevelop a key downtown property—the former “White House site” parking lot on E Street.

The Press Democrat reports the out-of-town developer, backed by South Korean investors, was chosen for its plan to build a mixed-use development with over 300 apartments dedicated to workforce housing.

Mayor Mark Stapp praised LH Housing’s commitment to housing for working families and its secured funding, which is key to achieving the city’s goal of adding 7,000 new downtown homes.

The city and LH Housing now enter a five-month exclusive negotiation period to finalize the sale and project details.
