Napa could soon get its first dedicated food truck park.
The city’s Planning Commission is scheduled to consider a use permit for “Napa Social,” a proposed temporary park that would host up to ten food trucks in one centralized location.
According to the Press Democrat, the park would be situated on a vacant parcel near Soscol Avenue and Third Street, across the river from downtown. Developers are planning a horseshoe layout around a common area with shaded seating, restrooms, and on-site power connections to reduce noise and exhaust.
If approved, the park would operate for three years, offering a new, family-friendly dining option daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., with beer and wine service also planned.
