The Sonoma County Probation Department has secured a $261,500 state grant to fight impaired driving.
The funding, provided by the California Office of Traffic Safety, will be used for an intensive supervision program focused on high-risk individuals with multiple DUI convictions.
Probation officials say the program will boost monitoring, treatment, and warrant operations to reduce repeat offenses and increase road safety.
