Santa Rosa police say two men are arrested for allegedly burglarizing and causing several thousand dollars in damage at an abandoned school.
The incident happened around 10:30 Monday morning at Santa Rosa Middle School, which was closed this year due to budget cuts. Thirty-five-year-old Jonathan Delatorre and 57-year-old Robert Hamilton were arrested at the scene.
The school is one of four campuses shuttered by the Santa Rosa City Schools Board of Trustees to address a projected 20-million-dollar budget shortfall.
