Russian River Brewing Company Teaming Up With Local New Nonprofit For New Beer

The founders of Russian River Brewing Company are turning their love for the local environment into a new flagship beer.

The Press Democrat reports starting tomorrow, January 9, the brewery will release 110 West Coast Pils, a new pilsner named for the 110-mile length of the Russian River.

Proceeds from the beer will benefit Russian Riverkeeper, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and restoring the local watershed. The label even features the historic Wohler Bridge, where owners Vinnie and Natalie Cilurzo first fell in love with the area.

You can find the new brew on tap and in bottles at their Santa Rosa and Windsor locations starting Friday.
