The Sonoma County Office of Education is launching a free, three-part virtual workshop series tonight to help parents navigate the digital risks facing children today.
Partnering with Common Sense Media, the sessions will cover everything from cyberbullying and excessive screen time to the rising trend of AI companion bots.
The workshops come as local data shows nearly half of Sonoma County middle and high school students report high levels of stress or anxiety. The first hour-long session, “Understanding Social Media,” kicks off today at 5:00 p.m. in both English and Spanish.
You can register online at the SCOE website or by calling 707-522-3104.
