Around 200 demonstrators gathered in Cloverdale Plaza Sunday to protest federal immigration enforcement as part of a nationwide “ICE Out for Good” weekend of action.
According to the Press Democrat, the rally followed a massive demonstration in Santa Rosa on Saturday, both sparked by the recent fatal shooting of a Minnesota woman by an ICE agent.
Organizers with Cloverdale Indivisible say the event was a response to what they call government overreach and the “terrorizing” of immigrant communities by federal agents.
