Dragons, Jedi, and superheroes took over Lucchesi Park this weekend for the 12th annual LumaCon.
According to the Petaluma Argus-Courier, the Petaluma Community Center was packed Saturday as youth creators showcased everything from traditional sketches to woven crafts. The free event gave aspiring school-age artists the rare chance to sit alongside industry pros, including legendary X-Men and Batman artist Brent Anderson.
Between the 2:00 PM cosplay contest and outdoor sponge-weapon battles, organizers say the convention continues to prove that Petaluma’s creative spirit is stronger than ever.
