A longtime Santa Rosa High School coach is facing a felony charge after investigators allegedly found over one thousand child sexual abuse files on an electronic device seized from his home.
Seventy-eight-year-old Douglas Courtemarche, who reportedly admitted to downloading the material, has been barred from returning to the district, though officials say no students are believed to be involved.
Courtemarche was granted pretrial release and is scheduled to return to court on March 3rd.
