Santa Rosa Police Launch Community Traffic Safety Initiative

The Santa Rosa Police Department is inviting residents to a series of community meetings to tackle local traffic concerns, from speeding to neighborhood safety patterns.

Funded by a new grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, these sessions allow citizens to speak directly with officers to develop real-world solutions for problematic roadways.

The first meeting kicks off April 16th at Roseland University Prep, followed by additional dates in May and June spanning all four city quadrants. Police officials are urging broad participation to ensure that feedback from every neighborhood is included in their future safety planning. Those unable to attend in person can still submit their concerns via email.

For more information or translation services, contact the department’s public information office.
