A former Sonoma County educator is behind bars today following his arrest on several counts of child sexual abuse dating back over two decades.
Courtland William Foster appeared in a Rohnert Park courtroom Wednesday to face allegations involving lewd acts with a minor and assault during his time at Technology High School between 1999 and 2004.
The arrest, which took place on March 29th, has led prosecutors to file multiple felony charges against the former teacher. A judge has ordered Foster to be held without bail and has already put a protective order in place for the victims involved.
He is scheduled to return to court this coming Tuesday for a formal arraignment as the investigation into his tenure at the school continues.
