A man from Santa Rosa is behind bars on suspicion of posing as a law enforcement officer.
Police say Gregg Jackson wore fake gear and pretended to be a cop in multiple states. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office says Jackson was driving a vehicle equipped with red and blue emergency lights and was also claiming to be a bounty hunter. He was arrested on Monday, after a search of his home and vehicle.
Detectives found vests, helmets, shirts labeled “Police K-9,” handcuffs, a gas mask, a parking pass, walkie-talkies, emergency lights and a battering ram.
