Gold Ridge Fire Protection District To Reopen Bodega Fire Station

The Gold Ridge Fire Protection District is planning to reopen the Bodega fire station this weekend.

This after the district and the nonprofit that owns the station verbally came to terms on a one-year lease. The station closed on July 1st, prompting backlash from residents. The fire station is owned by the Bodega Volunteer Fire Department.

The deal was brokered by Occidental attorney and former Fifth District Sonoma County Supervisor Eric Koenigshofer.
