Sonoma Raceway Security Guard Charged With Felony Following Incident At Last Weekend’s NASCAR Race

A security guard at Sonoma Raceway is facing a felony charge for an alleged incident at last weekend’s NASCAR race.

Alexander Rosiles was arrested on Sunday afternoon. He is accused of assaulting and injuring local racer Chase Johnson, who uses a wheelchair. The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office says Johnson fell unconscious after Rosiles pushed him and caused his wheelchair to tip over. The incident happened while Johnson was leaving Sonoma Raceway with his partner.

Rosiles is charged with assault and battery. He is due in court to enter a plea on August 12th.
