A mother and grandmother are behind bars after an eleven-month-old baby was exposed to fentanyl.
The Santa Rosa Police Department arrested the two women on Monday, after the baby was taken to a hospital and found to have fentanyl in her system. The mother and grandmother face felony child endangerment charges. Police believe the fentanyl exposure happened at the grandmother’s apartment on Sunday night.
The baby was immediately administered Narcan but her mother and grandmother did not take her to the hospital for several hours.
