Santa Rosa is in need of volunteers for a budget advisory panel.
Applications will be accepted through July 31st. Residents will analyze the city budget and offer feedback on ways the city can lower expenses and improve revenues. Members will work with City Manager Maraskeshia Smith and other city staffers. The city wants applicants who “demonstrate a commitment to engagement, a willingness to collaborate and an interest in public finance or community development.”
The working group will likely be in place for a year.
