The Sonoma Planning Commission will hold a study session this Thursday, July 17th, to review plans for a new multi-family residential development.
According to the Sonoma Index-Tribune, the proposed project by City Ventures would bring either 51 or 61 for-sale townhomes to a three-acre parcel at 20455 Fifth Street East, just outside current city limits. These homes, ranging from two to three stories, would include two or three bedrooms and private parking.
A significant portion of the units, 25%, would be deed-restricted affordable housing, aiming to address community housing needs. This development is within the city’s sphere of influence and would require pre-zoning and annexation.
The study session begins at 6 PM in the City Council Chambers, and can also be viewed online via webcast, YouTube, or Zoom.
