A woman is behind bars on suspicion of leading police on a high-speed chase through Sonoma and Marin counties.
The chase started late Monday morning. The CHP says the woman drove at speeds of up to 80-miles-per-hour with a two to three-year-old boy in her lap. The woman allegedly told other drivers that a relative had been murdered, however CHP says that was not the case.
The chase ended safely on Highway 101 in Petaluma, where the woman was arrested.
