A paralyzed auto racer is suing a Sonoma Raceway security guard and the guard’s employer.
Chase Johnson, who uses a wheelchair, recently filed the lawsuit in Sonoma County Superior Court. It accuses security guard Alexander Rosiles of assault, battery and negligence following the incident during a NASCAR race at the track on July 13th. Rosiles was arrested that same day and now faces assault and battery charges. He is accused of pushing Johnson from his wheelchair.
The complaint also names Rosiles’ employer, Camden Security Company, and its parent company, Garda World Security. Both are accused of negligence and failing to properly hire or train Rosiles.
