POLENTA AND STEW DINNER BENEFITS PENNGROVE PARK AND CLUBHOUSE – Oct. 18 2025

Join us for a cozy evening of hearty polenta and stew, all for a good cause!
The polenta and stew dinner is on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Penngrove Community Clubhouse, 385 Woodward Avenue, Penngrove.

Roland Mellor and his talented volunteers will prepare polenta and stew, accompanied by green salad, French bread, and dessert. This benefit dinner is a meal that old-time farmers ate, long before the term ‘farm-to-table’ was coined.

Cocktails begin at 5:00 pm, with dinner at 6:00 pm.

“I got the recipe from an old Italian guy years ago,” said Mellor. “We held this dinner last Spring, and people begged for a repeat!”

All proceeds benefit Penngrove Park and Clubhouse improvements. The nonprofit Penngrove Social Firemen sponsor the event.

Tickets are $25; children 12 and under $10. Buy tickets at Odd Cookie, 10000 Main St., or online at https://polenta-stew.eventbrite.com
