Santa Rosa’s Minimum Wage To Increase Nearly Two-Percent

Santa Rosa’s minimum wage will increase nearly two-percent in 2026 under the city’s annual wage adjustment.

Employers of all sizes must pay at least 18-dollars-and-21-cents per hour starting January 1st, up from 17-87 this year and about a-dollar-30 above California’s statewide minimum of 16-90. Officials note most employers already pay higher wages to attract workers in the high-cost area.

Nearby cities will see increases as well, with Petaluma at 18-31 per hour and Sonoma rising to 18-47 at large companies and 17-38 at smaller firms.
